It’s hard to believe the final quarter of 2025 is already here! This time of year is one of the busiest—and most beautiful—in Southwest Florida, as our seasonal plantings run from October through May. We’re thrilled to kick things off with our annual Color Kickoff event at The Garden Center!
Your Summer Starts Now
Florida Summer is here – goodbye dry Spring! Nothing compares to the benefits rainwater provides to our plants, trees, and lawns. We welcome the rain and the summer heat bringing our area to its “sub-tropical” climate which is just perfect for our plants.
Your Spring Update From Hazeltine
Springtime in Southwest Florida is ushered in by spectacular flowers on many of our landscape trees. Now is the time of the year when we see a profusion of them in bloom the golden yellow trumpets of the gold trees, the magentas, reds and whites of the orchid trees, and the purplish-blue bells of the jacarandas.
Caribbean Colonial Architecture Provides The Inspo For This Waterfront Florida Home
Caribbean, colonial, and waterfront? Oh my! Paired up with #PerroneConstruction, our own Stephen Hazeltine really dug into this project. Stephen brought to life the look of brick with coral accents and turf inlays that formed a repeating diagonal pattern in the auto court. Additionally, a variety of palms and ornamental plantings evoke a tropical ambience. The concept was to “soften the hard surface while creating a focal point in toward the main entry doors.” and wow, does that show!
NATIONAL ARBOR DAY
Today is Arbor Day! It’s a national holiday that recognizes the importance of trees. The most common way people celebrate Arbor Day is to get together in groups to plant trees, but that isn’t the only way you can show love for Mother Nature.
EARTH DAY IS THIS SATURDAY APRIL 22ND 2023
What began in 1970 after a massive oil spill off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, Earth Day has evolved into the largest civic observance in the world. And it’s been a dedicated day on the calendar ever since those initial 20 million Americans sprang into action to protect our planet.
